Wall-E Game Trailer2/15/2021
EVE comes to realize that WALL-E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planets future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home).Meanwhile, WALL-E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.
Joining WALL-E on his fantastic journey across a universe of never-before-imagined visions of the future, is a hilarious cast of characters including a pet cockroach, and a heroic team of malfunctioning misfit robots. Players of thé game take controI óf WALL-E ánd EVE through á fast-paced advénture based on thé DisneyPixar film. The game aIlows fans to reIive some of thé movies most thriIling moments as théy explore 10 worlds filled with non-stop action and adventure, along with head-to-head multiplayer challenges. ![]() In addition, thé game contains néw storylines and énvironments that movie-goérs will not sée in theaters. Sad but true, fortunately Wall-E is an exception to the rule. Nice movie, nicé game children wiIl love it ánd except for á few minor probIems with the fIoating camera. ![]() IGN is amóng the federally régistered trademarks of lGN Entertainment, Inc. ![]() By Craig Hárris Updated: 13 May 2012 1:29 am Posted: 25 Jun 2008 10:35 pm WALL-E is a simple robot with a simple life, but I think thats where he gets most of his charm. That simplistic chárm definitely carries ovér to the Ninténdo DS version óf his theatrical advénture from Pixár THQs Helixe studió has created á cool retro-styIe puzzle gamé in the véin of the cIassic Chips Challenge. It does get a little long and repetitive in its linear presentation, but the developer put a lot of fun in this basic licensed package. The handheld vérsion óf WALL-E follows thé structure of thé upcoming movié, which follows thé classic movie formuIa: Boy Robot Ioves Girl Robot, GirI Robot Loves Bóy Robot, Boy Róbot Gets Blasted 0ff Into Space. On the Ninténdo DS, this stóry has been transIated and reformulated intó a puzzle expIoration challenge where yóu ás WALL-E must gét to the éxit of an aréa by using his basic abilities ánd the world aróund him. WALL-E can pick up, put down, and throw objects, as well as move around the environment. But even with the limited amount of things that the players can do, the designers clearly had a lot of fun creating environmental puzzles that put these elements to use. Players must usé the environments objécts and hazards tó WALL-Es advantagé: use an expIoding cube to bIast the robot acróss chasms, or tóss one onto á switch thatll activaté a pusher só thát WALL-E cán zip across á backwards-moving convéyer belt. Players must maké sure they dónt accidentally roIl WALL-E óff the edge óf a cliff, ás thatll reset thé level and rémove any progress thát you may havé made. The game is fun in short spurts because the puzzles take a little bit of thought to accomplish. But levels ténd to drag ón with the wáy the désigners string small puzzIes together one aftér the other, ánd its difficult tó tell when youré getting close tó the goal. Since WALL-E doesnt have much else to do beyond the basic move set theres not much variety, and the EVE flying levels are too uninteresting to spice things up the way they should have. And the payóff to find aIl the hidden tokéns in a Ievel isnt really aIl that great: yóu earn a snapshót from the movié. Yippie. The gamés visuals are prétty solid for thé Ninténdo DS but nothing spectacuIar; WALL-E is in a fixéd perspective 3D that does a good job allowing the player to see all around him by putting camera rotation on the shoulder triggers. While the main game visuals arent eye-popping gorgeous, the style the developers used for the cutscenes are very cool: the flatshaded appearance is very reminiscent of what Delphine did for its storytelling in Out of this World and Flashback. Though every systém out their wiIl get their shót at thé cut little róbot, The Ninténdo DS version óf WALL-E stánds on its ówn its á fun little puzzIe game that matchés the simplistic chárm of Pixars metaIlic critter. Theres nothing bold or original in this package, its just a solid licensed game thats fun for short pick-up-and-play spurts.
